DAN COOPER

Website: www.dancoops.co.uk

Dan Cooper: Dan is a London-based bike racer competing in road, track and fixed gear races. He races and trains with Regents Park Rouleurs, a club that is renowned for fast and fluid training sessions. The level of detail they go to in order to optimise position, bike setup and drivetrain in search of every marginal gain is scrupulous. Having bikes set up with Kogel means Dan knows he’s not missing out on any tangible advantage. Having won and lost bike races by mere centimeters he appreciates the smallest gains can make a massive difference.

Look out for Dan in the South East racing circuit and road races this season in search of Cat 1 License. He will also be racing fixed gear for East London Fixed and can be found tearing it round Red Hook Crit, Rad Race and other fixed gear crits this season!

ANTON BLACKIE

Anton Blackie: Cycling began in earnest for Anton aged 14 ( that’s over half his life now..) messing about on a bmx and throwing himself downhill and racing some of the early 4x races such as the BSX supercross. Nowadays it’s still about two wheels, but the majority is on road. Anton has completed 3 editions of Paris-Brest-Paris – the pinnacle event of audax at 1200km and held every four years, as well as London-Edinburgh-London, Torino-Nice rallye and many of the European sportives. His job (@ Rapha Travel) takes him around Europe in to the mountains but he’s also a keen and competitive Time Trailer. Looking to crack the 20 minute barrier for a 10 is pretty competitive. His bike stable is varied with something for most disciplines, all built with use in mind- reliable yet with an attention to details.
